The Dutch Canadian Society or DCS was founded in 1960 by a group of Dutch-Canadians who had emigrated to Canada in the post WWII period. Iin 1965, the Club opened the DCS Hall. IN 1985, on the occasion of its 25^th Anniversary the of the DCS published a history of the Club that told the story of its formation and of its activities and achievements. As the DCS anticipates the celebration of its 50^th Anniversary in 2010 several articles recount the story of the second twenty-five years. These were compiled by John Zeeman and include:
